We Angelenos often take for granted our own

Landmarks, hotspots and places of interest. I

took a stroll in Beverly Hills recently, wow.
You needn't be wealthy, beautiful, talented or
famous to enjoy what this community has to
offer us all. The parks, stores, galleries  & people.

The city itself was formed in 1912. Since then,

there have been films, television shows and a
multitude of opinions, mostly from those outside
of this rather tight knit community of everyone
from everywhere. Yes, it helps if you have at least
one of the a fore mentioned adjectives, but still
and all, this is a very cool community , regardless
of your preconceived politics, your income or your
hang ups. Lets face it, most folks would like to
have a piece of the good life. So then I suggest
that everyone simply visit it. Look. Listen. Learn.

It is always a perfect evening for a Beverly Hills
night out on the town. We suggest a basic itinerary.
Here's your schedule. For starters, pick your own
restaurant, there are plenty to choose from, Coffee
Shops, Cafes and full on cuisine for a serious and
special dining experience.

If you are planning to cook your own masterpiece,

stop by a wonderful little store which is any chef's
dream spot. With a wide variety of : Oils, Spices,
Salts, Honey, Duck fat, Anchovies, Olives, 'shrooms,
Caramels, Chocolates, Bread and every type of
Cheese imaginable. For over forty - three years
THE CHEESE STORE OF BEVERLY HILLS at
419 N Beverly Drive is a must. 310. 278 . 2855
It has been a mainstay for locals as well as those
visiting from out of town and around the world.

After an early dinner, you are stopping by the

EURO CAFFE
310 . 274 . 9070 for a nice Italian Espresso or
Cappuccino and a sweet something for dessert.
Catching a bit of European Sports on the tele
and commiserating with the local gentry.

For your cigar or pipe loving friends, you will be

visiting : KRAMERS PIPE & TOBACCO SHOP
at 9531 Santa Monica Boulevard 310.273.9777
Since 1949 Tina Kramer and Family have been
involved in entertaining as well as enjoying a good
smoke here in Beverly Hills. A rich history to share.
One of the best Pipe collections of the classic variety
ever assembled here in Los Angeles : Ferndown, Briar,
Chiara, Savinelli, Nording and Fero. For those who
are desiring to play Norma Desmond or President
Roosevelt this Halloween, they also have elegant
cigarette holders, silver, gold and bake - a - lite !

Before heading over to the current Art Exhibit

at GAGOSIAN GALLERY to view our favorite
photographer : Visit the Site GAGOSIAN.com for times.

A visit to : TOM FORD at 346 North RODEO Dr.

310 . 270 . 9440 is definitely in order. Tom has
been a harbinger of interesting, controversial and
sexy clothing, objects, images and motion pictures
since his debut. Both men and woman will enjoy
the new fall line which will have a full review posted
here by weeks end. So, check back with us soon.

Meanwhile, get out of the house and enjoy your city.

Los Angeles has a lot to offer and it is all at your
fingertips. If anything, tell your friends and always
